Picking the superior Pumpkin:


-  Make sure that the color is uniform.

 

· Look closely for any mold near the stem.  


· Stems should be green and firm, not brown and soft.

- Watch out for bruises or cuts.

What a scene

Orange pumpkins calling me

to make a Soup

But alas I wait

Until the trick or treaters flee

And I can salvage those Jacks
